Last updated July 26, 2026. The estimate, authorization, invoice, and any service-plan agreement identify the coverage that applies to a particular device and job. This page explains the framework in plain language.
No fix, no repair fee on covered residential repair work.
Diagnosis is included in the agreed repair price. If Leon cannot complete the agreed covered repair, no diagnostic or repair labor charge is due. Authorized special-order parts, third-party purchases, data recovery, remote support, business services, and other separately scoped work follow their written terms.
Know what was repaired, what is covered, and what remains separate.
A later device problem is not automatically a warranty problem. Coverage depends on whether the new concern is connected to the approved work and falls within the written terms for that job.
Your paperwork controls
The device, approved work, parts, price, limitations, and any workmanship or parts coverage should be identified in the written job documents.
Coverage follows the repair
A warranty review focuses on the repaired component or authorized work. It does not convert the whole device into a newly warranted product.
Review comes before a remedy
Leon must inspect the device and compare the reported symptom with the original scope before deciding whether coverage applies.
Work tied to the written repair.
When the job documents include warranty coverage, a qualifying remedy is limited to the terms written for that service. Depending on the job, that may involve inspection, correction of covered workmanship, or handling a covered replacement part through the applicable supplier process.
- The same symptom caused by the authorized repair
- A covered replacement part that fails under its written terms
- Workmanship directly connected to the completed service
- The remedy and time period stated on the job paperwork
A fair answer starts with the original job and the current condition.
Do not continue using a device that is swollen, wet, smoking, sparking, unusually hot, or making destructive storage noises. Power it down when safe and call first.
Contact Leon promptly
Provide the invoice or customer name, device, original symptom, current symptom, and when the new behavior began.
Preserve the condition
Do not open the device, force a connector, reinstall software, erase storage, or ask another provider to modify the repaired area before review.
Allow inspection
The device may need hands-on testing. The review separates a covered issue from new damage, another component, software, an account, or an external accessory.
Receive the finding
Leon explains whether the concern is covered, what remedy the written terms provide, or what separately authorized service would be needed.
The rest of the device still matters.
Parts have different terms
New, manufacturer, distributor, refurbished, used, special-order, and customer-supplied parts may have different availability, return, shipping, labor, and warranty rules. The job documents identify what applies. A supplier remedy may require the part and device to be inspected or returned.
Backups remain essential
Customers remain responsible for an independent backup unless backup or recovery is specifically included. Repair, transfer, reinstall, security service, and recovery attempts cannot guarantee every file, setting, license, password, account, or saved game.
Hidden findings change scope
Prior work, corrosion, board damage, failing storage, unsupported software, counterfeit or incompatible parts, and multiple faults may only become visible during service. Work beyond the approved scope requires authorization unless a written approval limit already applies.
Pickup and payment follow the job terms
Payment timing, deposits, special orders, pickup arrangements, storage or abandonment notices, and recurring-plan terms are confirmed in the applicable estimate, invoice, or agreement. Review the Refund & Cancellation Policy for additional context.
