Plain-language policy

What this means before you authorize service.

Technology work can involve devices, files, accounts, remote access, third-party services, and changing technical conditions. Clear permission and a written scope protect both the customer and the technician.

01

Information this website receives

When you submit a contact, repair, Home Cyber Care, business IT, or newsletter form, Leon’s Computer Shop receives the details you choose to provide. Lead forms are intentionally limited to your name, email, optional phone number, a short problem description, consent, and only the minimum routing details needed for that request. Basic server logs and anti-spam controls may also record technical information needed to keep the site reliable.

02

How the information is used

Information is used to answer your request, evaluate service fit, communicate about scheduling or estimates, perform authorized work, maintain service and accounting records, prevent abuse, and improve the website. Do not place passwords, verification codes, payment-card numbers, Social Security numbers, recovery keys, or sensitive client information in a website form.

03

Optional website analytics and privacy choices

The website offers optional Google Analytics 4 measurement only after you select “Allow analytics.” If allowed, Google may receive a shortened set of website-use details such as visited page, approximate technical and location information, referral or campaign source, and actions such as a call click or completed request. Form answers, names, email addresses, and phone numbers are not sent through this analytics setup. Advertising storage, advertising user data, advertising personalization, Google signals, and cross-site remarketing are disabled. The first-party lcs_analytics_consent cookie remembers the allow-or-decline choice for about thirteen months. Choose “Privacy choices” at the bottom of any page to review or change that choice. Analytics remains off for WordPress administrators and when permission has not been given.

04

Form security verification

Public lead forms may use Cloudflare Turnstile to distinguish legitimate browser activity from automated abuse. Cloudflare may receive limited technical information needed to perform that security check, such as an IP address, browser characteristics, and the page where the check appears, under the Cloudflare Privacy Policy. Turnstile is used for form security, not advertising.

05

Service providers, endpoint telemetry, and choices

Hosting, email, security, scheduling, payment, backup, and other service providers may process limited information only as needed for their role. When a customer affirmatively enrolls a computer in managed protection, the identified endpoint-security and security-operations providers may process device identifiers, operating-system and security status, endpoint activity telemetry, detections, investigation information, and supported response actions as described in the enrollment agreement. Records are retained only as reasonably needed for service, security, accounting, dispute, and legal purposes. Customers may ask about, correct, or request deletion of eligible information through the contact page; some records may need to be retained for legitimate business or legal reasons.

06

Google Maps review content

When the live review carousel is enabled, the Reviews page loads Google Maps Platform in your browser and requests current public place and review information. Google may receive technical information such as your IP address, browser details, and the referring page under the Google Maps Platform Terms and Google Privacy Policy. The website does not copy or store the live Google review feed in WordPress.
