Know what monitoring can do before choosing a plan.
Home Cyber Care adds managed EDR and antivirus on every eligible enrolled computer, 24/7 investigation of EDR detections, a monthly review rhythm, and a known local contact. It is not surveillance, unlimited technical support, a backup by itself, or a guarantee that every scam, threat, failure, or mistake will be prevented.
The selected plan, eligible computers, included remote help, reporting, billing, cancellation, and consent are confirmed before enrollment.

It is a monthly service that includes managed endpoint detection and response and managed antivirus on every eligible enrolled computer, 24/7 investigation of EDR detections, update visibility, local review, and plain-English reporting.
Managed antivirus is included, but Home Cyber Care goes further. Managed EDR looks for suspicious endpoint behavior, a security operations team reviews EDR detections around the clock, and supported response actions can help contain confirmed threats.
No. No tool or technician can guarantee that. Monitoring can improve visibility and maintenance, while customers still need safe habits, strong accounts, multifactor authentication, and backups.
Routine management is not casual browsing of personal files. The security tools process device, process, activity, detection, investigation, and response telemetry needed to protect the computer. Any attended remote access is separately authorized and limited to the agreed support purpose.
The computer must be powered on and connected periodically for monitoring and updates to check in. Exact timing depends on the tools and plan.
The managed security operations team reviews EDR detections 24/7 and may perform supported investigation, isolation, containment, or remediation actions when enabled and appropriate. Leon follows up according to the plan and finding. General technical support and non-EDR alerts are not a 24/7 help desk.
Some plans include limited remote-help time or discounts. Printers, Wi-Fi, phones, smart TVs, hardware repair, data recovery, onsite visits, and unlimited support are not automatically included.
Yes, subject to the final reviewed cancellation and billing policy. Customers should receive instructions for removing or transferring managed tools after cancellation.
Supported Mac services depend on operating system version, hardware age, and tool compatibility. Confirm each Mac before enrollment.
Yes. Home Office Cyber Care may suit solo professionals, while organizations with staff or compliance needs should use a defined small business IT plan.
Onsite service may be available separately by location, scope, and schedule. It is not automatically included in a monthly Home Cyber Care plan.
It can provide useful visibility and a trusted contact, especially when paired with family scam rules, account protection, backups, and clear permission from the device owner.
The public plan uses vendor-neutral language because tools may change as security, compatibility, and licensing evolve. Before installation, the enrollment agreement identifies the current managed EDR, antivirus, monitoring, patching, and remote-support providers and explains the applicable data and response permissions.
Home Cyber Care is for supported computers
Phones, tablets, smart televisions, printers, routers, hardware repair, data recovery, onsite work, and unrelated household technology are separate unless the written scope says otherwise.
Business systems need a business scope
A solo home office may fit an eligible plan. Organizations with employees, shared business systems, managed Microsoft 365, contractual requirements, or regulated information should begin with the Small Business IT Baseline.
