Plain-language policy

What this means before you authorize service.

Technology work can involve devices, files, accounts, remote access, third-party services, and changing technical conditions. Clear permission and a written scope protect both the customer and the technician.

01

Residential repair pricing and the no-fix promise

Residential computer repair, virus and malware removal, Windows repair or reinstall, and standard healthy-drive data transfer are generally $75–$125 with diagnosis included. If Leon cannot complete the agreed covered repair, no diagnostic or repair labor is charged. Authorized special-order parts, third-party purchases, data recovery, remote support, business services, and other separately scoped work follow the written terms provided before authorization.

02

Parts, software, and outside purchases

Special-order, opened, installed, activated, licensed, customized, or otherwise non-returnable items may not be refundable. Manufacturer or distributor return rules may apply. Charges paid directly to software, cloud, shipping, payment, or other providers are governed by those providers and are separate from payments to Leon’s Computer Shop.

03

Appointments and recurring services

Any appointment cancellation, no-show, renewal, failed-payment, and recurring-plan cancellation terms are presented before they apply. Approved refunds are returned through the original payment method when practical. Contact Leon promptly when plans change so unperformed work or avoidable purchasing can be stopped where possible.

Before work begins

Confirm the decision in writing.

  • The correct customer, device, account, or organization
  • The approved diagnostic, repair, remote, monitoring, or project scope
  • Price factors, deposits, third-party purchases, and approval limits
  • Backup status, important data, access, and known risk
  • How changes, completion, pickup, billing, or cancellation will be communicated

Device trouble at home—or recurring IT responsibility at work?

Residential requests begin with the device and symptoms. Business relationships begin with users, endpoints, impact, ownership, and a paid Baseline.
